Memorial Hall1

Memorial Hall, built as a tribute to Civil War solders, was designed by Stephen C. Earle and completed in 1879 on land donated by Elijah Morse and Charles Endicott at a cost of$31,000. The structure has served as the center, not only of politics, but also the library and various community gathers.
